Curated from our burgeoning back catalogue, this is an all-inclusive aural history of the Bonzai sound and a foundational guide for those wanting to know more about electronic dance music in all its forms in the 90’s and beyond. From those very first sparks of hard techno in 1992, to the nu rave cuts of 2022, Bonzai stands the test of time, offering the sounds of now and then, as your vehicle to lose yourself in the music if only for a short period. We’re humbled to be still at the cutting edge of our scene and we invite you to celebrate with us by owning this piece of history as a tribute to the artists and DJ’s. CD 1 is filled with remastered classics from Push, Cherrymoon Trax, Thunderball, Extreme Trax, Blue Alphabet, Zolex, Yves Deruyter, Quadran and more. CD 2 contains some of the finest remixes of our most famous tracks with the likes of Charlotte De Witte, Joyhauser, Anonymize, Umek, Thomas Schumacher, Bart Skils, Bonzai All Stars, Playboyz & DJ Ghost taking to the mixing desk to spread their magic. The disc also contains 2 unreleased remixes by Greg S featuring Santini & Quatretemps where they take on Chris Raven’s ‘I Know You Love Me Too and Innertales’ ‘Odyssee’. CD 3 brings us up to the new era of Bonzai where that classic rave sound is reborn into a modern world and features tracks from Bonzai All Sars, DJ Furax, Push presents Retro-Active, DJ Bountyhunter, DJ Jan, DJ Ghost, Jan Vervloet and many more. On CD 4 we bring you a full-on DJ mix from the Bonzai All Stars duo of Christian ‘Fly’ Pieters and Dany Van Der Rieten aka Steel. In the mix, the duo takes us on a whirlwind journey through the decades, blending the old with the new in a blistering 65-minute set that will keep your party rocking long into the night.
